Musings on Creativity

Happy Thanksgiving! At the top of our list of things we are grateful for this year are our readers, contributors, and our deepening involvement in a community and profession which we love. Thank you!

We thought we’d take a moment today to share this wonderful talk by Elizabeth Gilbert. Watch it, and then make your uncle who always asks you “when you’ll get a real job,” watch it. And then jump up and cheer with the audience at, “If your job is to dance, do your dance. If the divine cock-eyed genius assigned to your case decides to let some sort of wonderment be glimpsed for just one moment through your efforts, then Ole, and if not, then do your dance anyhow. and Ole to you nonetheless.”

Ole!
